This wheeled
container No. 3660 is made as a tubular steel frame
with 5 sets of carriers for demountable shelves. The
distance between the shelves is variable. The metal
net shelves can be mounted as front or back of the container
without any use of tools.
The gables are made of tubes kept together by a distance
pipe. This pipe is placed asymmetrically in order not
to hamper the filling of the upper shelf or the dropping
of textile items from above. The
container is equipped with two straight-running wheels
and two swivel castors, fender wheels at each corner,
tug bar, tow-bar for coupling more containers and
writing slate on the front gable.
The surface is anti-rust treated by
galvanizing and powder-coated in colour silver. Therefore,
the container can be cleaned with hot water.
The container can also be equipped
with a special four-wheel steering mechanism. This
wheel system is an advantage when many coupled containers
are to be moved in narrow corridors. |
