Refrigerated Trailer Manufacturing
The example shown is a fully automatic ‘Storage & Retrieval’ system based on our Q89 Pallet conveyor range. It was designed to handle the side panels of 40′ refrigerated articulated lorry trailers, providing a buffer between manufacturing and assembly.
Each panel had to be maintained completely flat whilst handled, hence the utilisation of a Scissor Lift table to access the storage facility. The lift table was like no other. No manufacturer would provide the size and specification require for the project, so Q Systemset about designing and building it themselves. The unit towers over 30′ tall (9m), but maintains the simplicity of design of standard lift tables.
